Deposits & booking

A deposit is what holds your date on the calendar.

• Simulator rentals — 50% due at the time of booking
• The full balance is due 7 days before the event.
• Bookings made within 7 days of the event require full payment at the time of booking.

Until that deposit lands, your date isn't guaranteed. The deposit itself is non-refundable — but it never simply disappears. It follows you to a new date if you reschedule, or turns into a booking credit if you cancel, right up until 24 hours before your event.

Peak dates

A few dates in the year cost more to staff and run, and they're priced accordingly.

• Major holidays and holiday weekends.
• PGA Major weekends — the Masters, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open, and The Open.
• Other high-demand dates, which we'll flag as soon as you ask about one.

There's no surcharge table to decode here. If your date is a peak one, that's already built into the quote we send you, before you've paid anything. The same goes if you reschedule onto a peak date — we requote first and tell you the difference, and you decide from there.

Rescheduling

Moving your date is the easiest thing to do here, and your money moves with it — deposit and balance both.

• 72+ hours out Everything transfers to the new date, with no rescheduling fee.
• Under 72 hours Everything still transfers, with a $100 rescheduling fee for the short-notice change.

Reschedule as many times as you need — there's no limit on it. New dates need to land within 6 months of your original date and are subject to availability. The rescheduling fee is separate from what the date itself costs: if you move onto a peak date, we requote before anything is confirmed.

Cancelling

If the event isn't happening at all, here's where things land.

• 24+ hours out Your balance is refunded in full, and your deposit becomes a booking credit.
• Under 24 hours No refund, and we may charge the unpaid balance. Your deposit counts toward that total — the most you'd ever pay is the full booking amount, never more on top of it.

If there's any chance the event still happens later on, reschedule rather than cancel — that way you keep everything.

Booking credits

• Valid for 12 months from your original event date.
• Good toward any Goatee booking — any event type, any date we have open.
• No cash value, and not redeemable for a refund.

Weather — outdoor events

Safety comes first, and we want the event to actually land the way you pictured it.

• Weather calls are made together, at least 24 hours before your start time.
• If severe weather rolls in — heavy rain, lightning, high winds, or anything unsafe — you can reschedule up to six months from your original date, or take a full credit toward a future booking.
• If an indoor or covered space is available at your venue, we may be able to move the event inside instead.
• Calling it off over mild or simply less-than-ideal weather falls under the standard cancellation terms above.
