Privacy, in plain English

What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your event location, preferred date, length, and time of day
• Your guest count, occasion, and any add-ons you tick
• Anything you write in the notes box, and how you heard about us

When you submit, Netlify also records technical details alongside your answers — the IP address the request came from, your browser, the page you came from, and the time. We don't run ads, we don't use tracking or analytics cookies, and we don't build a profile on you. If you never submit the form, we never learn who you are — though simply loading the page does involve the two services described below.

What happens just by visiting

Two services are involved in showing you this page, and both see a request from your device even if you never touch the form:

• Netlify hosts the site, so their servers log ordinary request information — your IP address, browser, and which pages loaded. That's standard for any website and it's how the page reaches you at all.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses, so your browser requests them from Google and Google sees your IP address as part of that.

Neither of those is something we collect, read, or keep — we can't see it and we don't have access to it. We mention it because it happens on our behalf, and "we collect nothing" wouldn't be the whole truth.

Why we need it

• Name, email, phone — to send your quote and reach you about the event.
• Location — to work out travel, and whether the space fits the bay.
• Date, length, guest count, add-ons — to price the event accurately.

That's it. We use your details to prepare your quote and run your event, and for nothing else.

Where it goes

Submitting the form sends your details to two places:

• Netlify, our hosting provider. They store your submission on our behalf, in their dashboard, where we can read and export it. They're a service provider acting on our instructions, not another company we've handed your details to.
• Our email inbox, so we see your enquiry and can reply.

Both connections are encrypted. If your browser can't reach Netlify, the form falls back to opening an email draft on your device — in that case nothing is sent anywhere until you press send yourself.

Who else sees it

The only people who read your enquiry are us. Netlify holds it on our behalf, as described above — that's how any hosted form works, and they don't use it for their own purposes.

Beyond that: we never sell your information, never share it for advertising or marketing, and never hand it to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• If you book, we keep your details while we plan and run the event, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
• If you don't book, we clear the enquiry out within about a year.

Getting your data deleted

Email goateegolf@gmail.com and ask. Tell us the name and email you used, and we'll delete your enquiry from both our inbox and Netlify. You don't need a reason, and we'll confirm once it's done.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we'll tell you.

Payments

No card details are ever entered on this website. When you book, we send a separate invoice, and payment is handled by that provider — we never see or store your card number.

Children

This site is meant for adults booking events. We don't knowingly collect information from children. Kids are very welcome at the events themselves.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. There's no version history to dig through — what you see here is what applies today.
